Ride with pride with a SHAW Collegiate Insignia License Plate. The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles is now offering a vanity license plate with SHAW own logo and colors. The license plates will tell everyone on the road not just where you are from but where your heart is!
Cost: The cost of the license plate is $25 per year in addition to your regular registration fee. Personalized collegiate plates cost $55 in addition to the normal registration fee. $15 of every tag purchased is returned to the University boosting the alumni and friends annual giving.
How to Order:
To order your Shaw University Plate, please visit http://www.ncdot.gov/dmv/forms/ and click Forms for Collegiate License Plates. You will need to print off the form and write in Shaw University’s name on the appropriate line and complete the application and mail it to the address on the form. If you have questions, please call the Department of Motor Vehicles at 919- 715-7000 and ask for the Personalized and Specialized Plates division. Once the DMV have updated their Online Services by adding the link for the Shaw University Plate on their website, individuals will be able to place their request electronically.
